As we approach the start of Advent, a time of preparation leading to Christmas, Vinnies begins its annual Christmas Appeal, seeking donations to help support people during the festive season. It is estimated that there are over 750,000 children across Australia living in poverty with many families and individuals feeling socially isolated.
We kindly ask families to contribute pantry items to our food drive this year, to be used to create hampers for individuals and families who are struggling during the festive season.
Please see attached a list of suggested donation items, which families can purchase and send into school with their child for donation, or deliver them directly to the school office.
Donations due to school by Friday 6th December.
